Rome's Jewish Quarter

Rome's Jewish quarter has been part of the city for 500 years. The architecture has changed, but the vibrant spirit remains, and is now one of the most charming and eclectic neighborhoods in Rome.

As you walk the streets, you plunge into a maze of cobbled streets, small squares, ancient ruins, Renaissance palaces, and Baroque churches. You can almost visualize life here for the Jews who were contained here during the war.
