Not too far outside the original gates of Rome, the Grouppo Storico Romano, or “Rome Gladiator School,” is located in a rather quiet, somewhat secluded suburb. I visited this attraction with some fellow employees of QueensLander Vacations and actually received instruction in what it once took to become a true gladiator. Believe me, even though I wasn’t in danger of being killed, it’s tougher than you might expect! More of this tomorrow.
