The property includes a small museum and a small amphitheater where the training takes place. The guys here are great, and you can tell they really love their work, as they really get into playing the part. First, they will outfit you with the appropriate costume and weapon. Then the training begins. They will demonstrate for you the various techniques used by the original gladiators, and then they let you give it a try to test your skill. And yes, it can get pretty hot in that iron helmet, and the sword isn’t exactly lightweight.
