Why Europe Is Still A Good Travel Destination

With the current economic climate in Europe and a currency with an uncertain future, it may seem like a bad time to travel "across the pond", but in reality, the European Union’s commitment to backing up the Euro and Euro-friendly countries, it’s not likely that anything drastic is going to change soon, not with Angela Merkel and Nicolas Sarkozy at the helm. In fact, while not necessarily cheap, the Euro has remained steadily in the $1.30 - $1.40 range for at least the past year or more, and that’s still cheaper than purchasing British Pounds at $1.50, although even that is not as high as its historical tendency toward the $2.00 mark.
