Travel Can Keep You Interested in Life!

This morning I attended the Senior Connection showcase at the Wind Crest Retirement Center in Highlands Ranch, Colorado. A lot of vendors who cater to seniors were present. Talked to a lot of folks and passed out brochures. Nice to see folks who are up in years who still have an interest in life and travel. Many also recounted their trips to Italy and elsewhere in times past, while some wished they had been able take their whole family along when they had opportunity. Some felt that it was too late for them make such a trip, which goes to show that you should travel now, while you're young and able. Make it a family experience whenever possible, because the time will come when it's just plain hard to get family together on the same page or to coordinate expenses. Never put off the important things in life. Travel is definitely a way to bring a family together with common purpose and enjoyment!

In other news, Dan Dieckhaus and David Douglas are off today to trade shows in Memphis, Birmingham, and Atlanta. They will be taking a week to visit these towns and make connections with travel agents. They are some of the best promoters of our small group tour product. They have both led the trips to Italy, as well as Ireland & Scotland, and they're very personable guys. Whom better to extol the virtues of QueensLander Tours small group tours to Italy, Spain & Portugal, Ireland & Scotland, Australia & New Zealand? If they can't convince you, no one can!

Today also begins our first tour of the season. Jodie Hedrick will start the tour of Italy's Great Cities in Venice tomorrow morning. Guests will be arriving today, having a welcome dinner at a unique, local restaurant, then getting a good night's rest before their tour adventure begins. They'll visit Venice, Florence, Cortona, Rome, and the Amalfi Coast on a fourteen day tour that will highlight the best that Italy has to offer! Buon Viaggi!
