Later today, we'll also be going to the home of Maria Chiacchio, who runs the Italian Institute. She's having some of us over to enjoy a little relaxation in her back yard. Once again, there'll be simple Italian fare, good wine, and friends. One thing about the Italians: they know how to slow down and enjoy everyday life! It's a lesson we could learn from them. You really see it when you go to Italy on one of our small group tours: Italy's Great Cities, Northern Italy, the Tuscan Hill Towns, the Cinque Terre, or the Amalfi Coast. I especially love the Amalfi Coast atmosphere. You just can't beat the Mediterranean way of life: healthy, delicious food, beautiful scenery, sun, and good friends. It makes a good basis for a long life!

Family Style Italian on a Friday Evening
As always, so thankful it's Friday! Love to kind of slow down just a bit on these days and enjoy some of the simple pleasures of life. One of those for us is going to a local Italian restaurant called Pasta, Pasta, Pasta. It's been in the Cherry Creek section of Denver for 40 years, apparently, but they recently relocated to a better location on a pedestrian mall. It's a family run establishment (father, mother, and two daughters) that has a simple philosophy: authentic Italian fare produced with little fuss. Just beautiful food that makes you appreciate life!
