Earthquake in Northern Italy

Of course, we have been keenly aware of the recent quake in northern Italy. Fortunately, none of our Tour Captains or customers were effected by it. Two of our Tour Captains did feel it up north in Venice and the Lakes district, but none of our group felt it down in Florence. Thank God!

Along with the Costa Concordia disaster, this is another reminder that you always have to prepared or have a contigency plan for those times when things like this happen. Fortunately, no need to implement this time, but one never knows. Just like the boy scouts, "Always Be Prepared!"

On a more positive note, here are some comments from recently returned customers, via our Tour Captain, Elaine Rodriguez: "John, Linda and the bottle of wine arrived safely home Wed. at 10:00 pm. However, our thoughts are still about the fantastic trip we had with you as our guide. You made traveling interesting, fun and full of amazing foods, wines, deserts, and chocolates-fantastico! The whole trip was a wonderful experience, mainly because you were such a super tour captain-grazie mille. We miss everyone , so you may give our email address to the others in the group. Thank you for the additional info about books and movies pertaining to Italy. Oh, thanks for the pretty scarf and t shirt." Further proof of the caliber of Tour Captains we employ!
