On a brighter note, I had a great time leading my tour to Italy over the past 11 days. At our farewell dinner, my group was so pleased with their tour that they asked me to commit to leading them on a tour of Ireland sometime in the next year. It's so gratifying when people are happy with your work and pleased with the product. Of course, the product is the joy of travel. Do consider small group travel if you haven't before! It truly makes a difference in the enjoyment factor. Small group tours are the way to go if you don't want to travel alone but also don't want to be overwhelmed by the challenges of a large group.
Well, am going to start easing back into the routine. Our thoughts and prayers to those affected by the aforementioned tragedy.
