More on Limoncello?! Really?! I know, but in Sorrento, near Piazza Tasso, the Corso Italia, or main street of the town, is packed with shops offering trendy, expensive designer goods, hand-painted pottery, inlaid wood, table linens, as well as restaurants, cafes, and nightclubs. These streets are also lined with limoncello shops, their walls lined from floor to ceiling with a riot of shapes and sizes: globes, tubes, mermaids, etc.
Of course, the limoncello runs freely with vendors standing at the doors of their shops calling, “Please take a taste.” Don’t mind if we do.
